Swimming Around the Gulet

The warm clear turquoise waters of the Eastern Mediterranean are perfect for swimming off the gulet  - the deep clear water is a magical experience. The salt content is quiet high so the water is very buoyant making swimming effortless. You'll want to swim three or four times a day.

Our Gulet's Tender Boat

The 'Odysseus' gulet carries a sturdy fast fibreglass tender boat with a 15hp outboard motor. The tender can carry 5 people and is used to ferry passengers from the 'Odysseus' gulet to the shore and to tow the children's inflatable and the sea kayaks.

Sea Kayaks

'Odysseus' carries two sea kayaks - one double and one single. They are easy to paddle and very stable. Use them to explore the rocky coastline or just have fun around the gulet.

Waterskiing

Odysseus's tender boat is not powerful enough to pull a water skier. However, independent ski boats are available for hire in many of the bays. If you want to hire a ski boat it can be arranged by the gulet's Captain.

Children's Inflatable

The Odysseus gulet carries a large inflatable ring that is towed behind the tender boat. It is a great favourite with the smaller children.

Fishing off the Gulet

'Odysseus' carries fishing rods and lines. Fish are often caught off the boat when anchored up or by trawling when under way. There is nothing nicer than catching fish straight off the gulet and having them for dinner that night.
